Clone scout trooper armor was flexible, lightweight clone trooper armor used by the Grand Army of the Republic's clone scout troopers during the Clone wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Description[]

Clone scout trooper armor[1] weighed ten kilograms, was flexible, and was lighter than Phase II clone trooper armor[8] at the cost of its own protection.[9] It measured at least 1.83 meters tall[7] and had a black body glove under its armor plates. The armor's helmet had a unique design compared to other clone helmets, with a wide visor[2] that gave its wearer better visibility.[8] Furthermore, the helmet's visor could either be black[6] or have a green hue.[2]

Standard clone scout armor was white,[6] but it could be painted with a camouflage pattern for better concealment in jungle, desert, or forested environments. The 41st Elite Legion's clone scout troopers painted their armor with a jungle camouflage pattern instead of using the armor's standard white color. Clone scout trooper armor also had an integrated comlink,[8] eighteen equipment pouches,[2] and a utility belt carrying a medpac.[1]
