The COO-series cook droid,[1] also known simply as a COO cook droid,[7] was a type of third class droid.[2] In 22 BBY,[8] a cook droid served aboard the AA-9 Freighter-Liner Jendirian Valley that transported the Senator Padmé Amidala and her guard, the Jedi Anakin Skywalker, to Amidala's home planet of Naboo.[6]
One COO-series cook droid served the Alliance to Restore the Republic aboard the starship Silver Arrow. Like the rest of the ship's droid crew, the cook droid was infected by the Scourge. The Scourge used the droids to slaughter all organic crew aboard. Later, the Scourge used the COO-series droid and its other infected droids aboard the Silver Arrow to ambush Magna Tolvan's crew.[4] In 4 ABY, one unit worked in Jabba's Palace.[9] In 9 ABY,[10] the palace still had a unit stationed there.[3]
