- "Coruscant has not been attacked in over one thousand years!"
"Then it has a false sense of security." - ―Lott Dod and Nix Card
A battle was fought on Coruscant during the Jedi-Sith War that ultimately ended in a Sith victory.[2]
Over a millennium after the battle, the attack was significant enough to prompt Trade Federation Senator Lott Dod to recall it during a debate with fellow conspirators on how to get the Galactic Senate to vote for the deregulation of banks. Dod found the idea of staging an attack so significant, he brought up that the last time Coruscant was attacked was over 1,000 years in the past. Nix Card replied that this long era of peace made the Coruscanti complacent and would make the attack more effective.[3]
