The BFF-1 bulk freighter was a class of bulk freighter active during the Imperial Era that was used to transport quantities of goods that required more careful handling. Because of the BFF-1 bulk freighter and similar transports, essentials and luxury goods were transported to every corner of the galaxy.^[1] During the Galactic Civil War, BFF-1 bulk freighters were used by the Galactic Empire, with several docking at the Remitik System munitions depot. Another was part of an Alderaanian refugee convoy, while others were used by civilians at Fostar Haven.^[2]
