During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems attacked the Black Sun. The Confederacy navy began to lay siege to the Black Sun's forces, at the same time as the Second Battle of Dathomir and an attack on the Pyke Syndicate. The lack of support from Maul caused the leader of Black Sun, Ziton Moj, to end their partnership with him.[2]
