The Apostate was a starship owned by the bounty hunter Nik Hepho. While Hepho was searching for adherents of the Church of the Force in Jedha City on the moon Jedha in the year 0 BBY,[2] the ship hovered in orbit above, operated by a droid intelligence that waited for the hunter to make contact via his backpack-mounted long-range transmitter.[1]
