Alderaanian diplomatic cruisers,[13] also known simply as Alderaanian cruisers,[2] Alderaanian starships,[14] or Alderaan cruisers, were corvettes manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation[1] and used as diplomatic cruisers by the Royal House of Alderaan. Models included the streamlined[3] CR70 corvette[2] and more rugged, war-ready[3] CR90 corvette, both of which were fast enough to serve as blockade runners.[2]
