"Airo, come, I can carry you"
"General…leave me… May the Force…be with…"
―Obi-Wan Kenobi and Airo[3]

Airo, originally known only by the number AR-9771, was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He was killed in battle while fighting against the Separatist Droid Army on Abrion Major[3] around the year 22 BBY.[2] At the time of his death, Airo had just adopted his name and was serving in the 212th Attack Battalion under the command of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody." Kenobi attempted to save the clone, but Airo implored his general to leave him and survive. He tried to say "May the Force be with you" to Kenobi, but died before he could finish the Jedi phrase.[3]
