A Taste of Takodana was a meal for younglings available at Tuggs' Grub when the mobile restaurant was docked at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Black Spire Outpost on Batuu[2] in 34 ABY.[3] The dish was suitable for human consumption.[2]

Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs previously worked for Maz Kanata,[1] who ran a tavern within her castle on the planet Takodana, until its destruction[4] in 34 ABY.[5] Tuggs' reputation in the Outer Rim had led to many beings wanting what Tuggs called "a taste of Takodana" in his cookbook The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook. He began operating Tuggs' Grub out of a modified transport and wrote of it, "It's given me a chance to share not just a taste of Takodana but an entire galaxy of flavors."[1] "A Taste of Takodana" became the slogan of Tuggs' Grub,[6] and the dish of that name was served when he was the visiting chef at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

A Taste of Takodana is a children's meal served at the real-world Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.[2] The menu's description reads, "Black Bean Hummus, Edible Soil with Nuts, Chilled Dipping Vegetables, and Multigrain Crisps with a side of 'Ranch' dressing served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small DASANI® Water. Meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines for Complete Meals without substitutions."[7] Since its introduction, it has been renamed multiple times to "Takodana Veggie Dippers Youngling Meal" and to "Takodana Veggie Dippers."[8]
