7EX was one of the many B2 super battle droids deployed by the Trade Federation during the Outer Rim Sieges. It was destroyed by Obi-Wan Kenobi on the Invisible Hand in 19 BBY, during the Battle of Coruscant, while acting as a security droid for Count Dooku.
