The Collectors Guild recruitment booth on Tulgana IV
The Collectors Guild was a guild of noted collectors of rare and valuable items. Guild rules dictated that a member's collection was to be auctioned off after their death. According to Captain Carol Freeman, all collectors, including members of the Guild, had attempted to add Data to their collections. Despite sharing a common interest, some members were known to be hostile to one another over collection sizes.
In 2381, Chairman Siggi of the Collectors Guild requested Federation assistance to catalog and dispose of dangerous items in the late Kerner Hauze's collection. The USS Cerritos was assigned to the task. (LD: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")
In 2381, the Collectors Guild operated a recruitment booth at a fair on Tulgana IV. The two collectors there joined in heckling Ensigns Beckett Mariner and Brad Boimler at the Starfleet booth, which eventually led to Boimler losing his temper and going on a rampage. He destroyed the collectors' booth while yelling at them: "Collecting is stupid! It doesn't make you happy! Your ships smell like ass!" (LD: "Reflections")
