The Sacagawea was the diplomatic shuttle that carried Gwyndala to Solum.
Service history[]
The Sacagawea transported Gwyndala to Solum, although the trip took longer than Gwyn was expecting. When the shuttle got close to the planet, the pilot beamed Gwyn down and remained nearby in case Gwyn needed help. (PRO: "Into the Breach, Part I", "Into the Breach, Part II")
After Asencia convinced the council not to trust Gwyn, she tried to call for an emergency beam out. However, the Sacagawea was suddenly attacked and destroyed by two Vau N'Akat warships. (PRO: "Into the Breach, Part II")
The USS Voyager-A later reported to Gwyn's friends that they had lost contact with the Sacagawea which Commander Tysess feared was the first sign of a temporal paradox. (PRO: "Temporal Mechanics 101")
Ilthuran later used the downed shuttle to connect to the Watson Subspace Relays and contact Voyager to warn them of Asencia's rise to power and her new temporal weaponry. (PRO: "Ascension, Part I")
