Ronu Noonien-Singh was a 23rd century Human.
He was the father of La'an Noonien-Singh and Manu Noonien-Singh and the partner of Sa'an Noonien-Singh. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds") He was a descendant of Khan Noonien Singh, the Augment tyrant who once ruled a quarter of Earth's population during the Eugenics Wars. As a result, his daughter La'an suffered bullying from other children due to her name, being called "Augment" and "monster", among other things. (SNW: "Ghosts of Illyria")
He was with his family aboard the SS Puget Sound when the colony ship was captured by the Gorn. They were taken to one of the species' nursery planets where he was subsequently killed. One thing he said not long before he died was "not believing you're gonna die is what gets you killed." La'an claimed that she "[didn't] understand what he meant at first, but I had a lot of time to think about it. About why I was the only one to survive." (SNW: "Strange New Worlds")
