In 2380, this shuttle was in the hangar of the Cerritos when Ensign D'Vana Tendi arrived on the ship. (LD: "Second Contact")
As with the other shuttles assigned to the Cerritos, this shuttle is named for a national park located in California, namely the Redwood National and State Parks.
In "Trusted Sources", the Joshua Tree was inadvertently labeled as the "Red Wood".
