Background information[]

Ellen Landry was played by Rekha Sharma. According to Ted Sullivan on episode 12 of After Trek, at some point Landry served as first officer on the USS Buran under Captain Lorca, although she was obviously not killed during the vessel's destruction.

Apocrypha[]

Landry appears in the 2019 "Rise of Discovery" expansion to Star Trek Online, with Rekha Sharma returning to voice the role. In the mission "The Plausibility of the Possible", Landry is the first officer of the Buran under Captain Lorca, and is engaged to the Buran's chief of security, Amna Patel. In the follow-up mission "The Impossibility of Reason", after the destruction of the Buran, Lorca, Landry, Patel, and the player character are stranded on an icy moon of Priors World, where Patel sacrifices herself to allow the others to escape. Patel's sacrifice ultimately inspires a vengeful Landry to take the post of security chief when she joins Lorca aboard the Discovery.
