Ted Sullivan (born 28 April 1971; age 53) is a producer and writer on Star Trek: Discovery. Starting with "Battle at the Binary Stars", he served as co-executive producer on both the first and second seasons.
He wrote the episodes "Lethe" (with Joe Menosky), "What's Past Is Prologue", "Brother" (with Aaron Harberts and Gretchen J. Berg), and "Light and Shadows" (for which he also provided the story, with Vaun Wilmott). He was interviewed in three episodes of After Trek and one episode of Engage: The Official Star Trek Podcast.
Sullivan is a graduate of the University of Southern California Film Writing School, where for a time he also worked as adjunct professor.
He first ventured into television with writing for soap operas As the World Turns and One Life to Live. In 2006, he co-wrote, edited and produced the comedy I'll Believe You. Since then, he has worked as writer and story editor on television series like Criminal Intent, Rizzoli&Isles (featuring Bruce McGill), Revenge, Supergirl and Pure Genius. On the last three, he has also served as a producer.
T. Sullivan was named after him.
