Carl Lucas, also known as Luke Cage and Power Man, is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is played by Mike Colter.
Lucas was a cop wrongly accused of a crime and sent to prison at Seagate. While there, he was caught in a fight ring and became the subject of an enhancing machine, which gave him unbreakable skin and super strength. He was able to escape, but not as a free man. He took the name "Luke Cage", fleeing with Reva Connors to Hell's Kitchen, but soon moved to Harlem, becoming its reluctant hero in stopping the likes of Cottonmouth Stokes, his half-brother, Diamondback, and Bushmaster.
