I take GABA, magnesium, Ashwagandha and L-Theanine as separate supplements each night at bedtime. I don’t mind taking these separate capsules when I’m home, but when I travel, it’s a bit of a hassle to bring so many. So I decided to look for a supplement that combines them Into one, And I stumbled upon these tasty gummies. The only downside with gummies is they tend to be less potent, so I’m getting far less of each ingredient that I need in this single product, compared to my capsules at home. There’s 60 gummies here and the recommended two gummies per serving Makes this a one month supply if you’re taking this every night. One serving delivers Vitamin D3 5mcg, Vitamin B6 5mg, Magnesium 50mg, GABA 200mg, Ashwagandha 100 mg, L-Theanine 100mg, 5-HTP 50mg. So there is a bit of a trade-off here, I might be getting less of what I typically take, but there’s a few new ingredients that I’m starting to appreciate. These gummies are an excellent part of my end-of-day routine. After I quit drinking, I've needed a new ritual to chill out in the evenings, and a little bit of mood-boosting candy is just the ticket. The flavor is very candy-like...that "blue berry" flavor we know and love. And at only 15 calories for two, the amount of sugar is not too much for my after-dinner sobriety reward before I get ready for bed.
The active ingredients are all things that are expected in a stress relief or mood-enhancing supplement: B6, Magnesium Glycinate, Ashwagandha, L-theanine, GABA, and the serotonin-promoter 5-HTP.
I appreciate that the label expressly lists the potential allergens, i.e., "tree nuts (coconut)". The gummies are not necessarily going to put you to sleep, but they definitely help me relax and turn down the volume of the racket in my brain when it's time to hit the hay.
