I don't mean I don't want the rest of the series but after the nest two books after this I think that Riordan should have a Harry Potter style epiloge at the end of the third book. The reason I'm saying this is because what's the point of going on? There's not much to tell after this series I feel like if he has to save the world it would just be a stressful read. So I feel like he should have a fourteen page epiloge that will make you cry. I would like that. But anyways this was an amazing book, with lots of humor which I love. Although I will say that percy said boomer wayyyyy to much in one chapter, but thats it. Also it had tons of heart it was a very peaceful read. I do wish Grover would say "Drive just drive!" and reverence Annabeth, Grover, and percy's own musical (Oh wait, I forgot that Rick was a jerk and hasn't even listened to the soundtrack that Rob, Kristin, Chris, George and others worked so hard on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Overall a fantastic book

I was so excited when I learned that Rick Riordan was adding to his series. It was so well written and if you've read the series you'll definitely understand what's going on , but only if you've read all of them. So worth the read. I had a fit when I learned I had to wait until September 2024 for the next one. I tried to take my time reading it... that didn't work. I was hooked.

This was such a cute book and I really enjoyed the break from the seriousness usually laced with the books it felt nice to just be able to relax and read the book without stressing about who’s going to die next. Also as someone who’s also stressing about college next year it’s so cool to see Percy stressing about the same things and it’s amazing seeing him grow up as I do it’s truly something special to me

As an aging Gen-X'er who loved the original series as an adult, this book was the perfect continuation of Percy’s adventures and even struck a chord with me as I leave my 40's behind...I won't give spoilers, but will say that the themes of youth, old age and new beginnings made for a wonderful read (and good midlife crisis counseling LOL). And of course there's still the same sparkling humor and warmth of the first novels. A delightful afternoon read for young and old alike! Can't wait for the next two!

This book brought me back to a time when things were a little easier, and I was first dipping my toes into actually reading novels instead of flipping through picture books.

I won’t give too much away, but as I was reading through some pages, I realized that a lot of the scenes in the book were vaguely familiar. It didn’t take me long to realize that this book resembled the first Percy Jackson book—The Lightning Thief.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a different book entirely, and it stands on its own pretty well, but it definitely has a similar spark to the first one. As I was reading through it, I felt like a kid again, cracking open the first book after getting my hands on the whole set from a scholastic book fair catalog order I had placed with my literature teacher.

With that said, I couldn’t put the book down. It was a quick read, but delightful nonetheless. I highly recommend to anyone in the mood for something light and fictional, or a Percy Jackson fan wanting to add another classic Greek “myth” to their collection.

Rick Riordan never fails to entertain me. I’m way past his age group, but to vicariously follow the ADHD Demi Gods on yet again another adventure, and this one has Percy at the center again which is great, is so refreshing. It was like cool ocean air blowing your through your mind. I am not here to give spoilers. I wonder what Olympian is responsible or has interest in spoiler alerts. Food for thoughts. BTW I’m ADHD myself, you don’t want to read my review anyways, it would be 16 pages of my fan girl-ing side. I love your work Rick Riordan. Never stop. Please!!😍

Having read the original series and “Heroes of Olympus” recently, I was glad to know Rick was writing a new book. As always, the book was funny and made some references to the other series. Highly recommend it.

(SPOILERS AHEAD) I also enjoyed a lot the fact that is story was more self contained and had lower stakes: he was not trying to save the world, but to achieve something that personally was perhaps even more important.
