Purchase options and add-ons
Sparks fly and monsters die when Greek demigods and Egyptian magicians team up to save New York.
Magic, monsters, and mayhem abound when Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase meet Carter and Sadie Kane for the first time. Weird creatures are appearing in unexpected places, and the demigods and magicians have to team up to take them down. As they battle with Celestial Bronze and glowing hieroglyphs, the four heroes find that they have a lot in common--and more power than they ever thought possible.
But will their combined forces be enough to foil an ancient enemy who is mixing Greek and Egyptian incantations for an evil purpose?
Rick Riordan wields his usual storytelling magic in this adrenaline-fueled adventure.

Overall Rating: 4/5
This book contains three connecting stories for a Percy Jackson and Kanes crossover. I'm sure they were published separately somewhere, but this has them all in one book. The first two stories have the two boys meet, and then the two girls meet, and the final one brings all four together.
There are a few pictures clumped together in the last story. I don't think that was good placement. They could have been spread around to be in tandem with the events they represent, but whatever. I also noticed in Sadie's solo picture, she's missing her highlights.
-The Son of Sobek: 4/5
I love how Carter and Percy met. That part was well done and amusing. This story is told from Carter's perspective, and the two spend pretty much the whole story in combat.
-The Staff of Serapis: 3/5
This one is told from Annabeth's perspective. Annabeth and Sadie have an action packed adventure combating a resurrected god. Neither of them are favorites of mine, but I didn't mind this story. It was better than I expected considering who the main characters were.
I think it's funny how for once Percy was more cautious about something than Annabeth. I thought she would have had the same thoughts as Carter did in the first story, but she didn't. She just rolled with everything, no secrets, without a second thought.
-The Crown of Ptolemy: 4/5
The final story, told by Percy. It was kind of him to make his first meeting of Carter sound more dignified than it actually was.
This story shows a lot of mixing of Greek and Egyptian magic. It made the story and combat rather interesting.
I love how Carter and Sadie are just like alternate versions of Percy and Annabeth.
