Fries are a food item dropped by Flying Fish which grants the player the Plenty Satisfied buff. This lasts for 10 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by selecting the icon and canceling it in the equipment menu (Console version) or by double-tapping the buff icon (Mobile version).

Like all other food items, it can be placed on a PlatePlate: Fries (on Plate).

Trivia[]

  • Its tooltip, "Where's the Ketchup!?" references the American tradition of eating fries with ketchup. It may also reference "Where's the Lamb Sauce?!", a famous quote from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
  • The icon is inspired by McDonald's Fries. The yellow 'T' on the container is a reference to McDonalds' logo being a yellow 'M', which is the first letter of the company's name, and T being the first letter in 'Terraria'.
  • The fact that the item drops from Flying Fish may reference the meal fish and chips.
