"The holocrons contain vast amounts of wisdom amassed by countless generations of Jedi. It's imperative that we get them back, lest that knowledge be lost forever!"
―Jocasta Nu[1]

"Yoda's top 10 Force powers (number 5 will shock you)" was a Jedi holocron that was kept in the Holocron Vault of Coruscant's Jedi Temple, containing a list of Jedi Grand Master Yoda's favorite Force powers. It was one of several holocrons stolen by the bounty hunter Aurra Sing, who tried to sell it but could not find an interested buyer. It was eventually retrieved from where Sing had jettisoned it into space and returned to the Jedi Archives.

Description[]

"Yoda's top 10 Force powers (number 5 will shock you)" was a glowing blue cubical Jedi holocron kept in the Jedi Archives' Holocron Vault within the Jedi Temple[1] on the planet[2] Coruscant. It contained information about Jedi Grand Master Yoda's favorite Force powers.[1]

History[]

At some point before the end of the Galactic Republic, the bounty hunter Aurra Sing stole the holocron along with "Obi-Wan's guide to snappy one-liners" and "How to build your own lightsaber."[1] She[3] attempted to sell the holocrons, but merchants in Coruscant's Uscru District and the settlement of Mos Espa[1] on the planet[2] Tatooine refused to buy them, as they claimed that they were worthless unless they had been deciphered. Sing was unable to do so because holocrons could not be opened without use of the Force, and she grew so frustrated with her inability to sell them that she jettisoned them into space, scattering them between[1] the planet[2] Naboo and Tatooine.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

An individual eventually returned the holocrons to the Jedi Temple. The Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives, Jocasta Nu, was so desperate to retrieve the stolen holocrons that[1] she[4] allowed Sing to go free without punishment for the theft in return for Sing confessing their location.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

"Yoda's top 10 Force powers (number 5 will shock you)" appeared in the non-canon 2022 video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It was featured in the side quest "Stolen Knowledge," where Jocasta Nu charges the player with retrieving the stolen holocrons.[1]
