Ylvrins were creatures that chirped to each other to communicate. The creatures could be found on the rainforest moon Felne 6. While on Felne 6[1] in 228 BBY,[2] Jedi Knights Burryaga Agaburry and Bell Zettifar walked through the moon's forest, with the former noticing when they entered a relatively quiet area of the woodland that had no ylvrins chirping to each other.[1]

Ylvrins were mentioned in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
