Minutes[]
- Expanded Universe vs. Star Wars Legends. Expanded Universe to be moved to Star Wars Legends.
- Movie novelizations. The film novelizations and junior film novelizations will be treated as non-canon Legends material within Wookieepedia articles. Canon articles will neither cite information from them nor list them in the Appearances list. However, citing novel information for Canon BTS sections is still acceptable.
- Notability policy. The following will be added to Wookieepedia:Notability policy#New canon subjects: "An exception to this rule are battles and other events, as the vast majority of these have conjectural names."
- Star Wars Insider. The following will be added to Wookieepedia:Layout Guide#Sources: "Beginning with the short story "Blade Squadron" in Star Wars Insider 149–150, all Insider fiction is considered part of the new canon and must be documented only within Canon articles. Insider fiction prior to issues 149–150 will be documented in Legends articles. With regards to non-fiction Insider articles beginning with issue 150, for subjects that remain canon or have been re-canonized in the new canon and are mentioned in Insider articles, those Insider articles will be documented within Canon articles' Sources lists. Likewise, subjects that are mentioned in Insider articles by their Legends names and have not been re-canonized will be documented within Legends articles' Sources lists until such a time that the subject is re-canonized, at which point all subsequent Insider mentions will be documented within a subject's Canon article. Previous Insider mentions in a Legends Sources list will not be moved to a subject's Canon Sources list."
- Wookify. Wookieepedia:Wookify to be deleted. Tl|Wookify will be deprecated and replaced with {{Cleanup}}.
- New articles. No consensus to adopt proposed maintenance template regarding poorly created new articles. New parameters may be added to {{Cleanup}} for specific maintenance issues as needed.
- Single-issue voters. The following amendment will be made to Wookieepedia:Single-issue voters (difference in bold): "Users must make 50 non-reverted, non-deleted mainspace edits within the previous 6 months prior to the start of a given forum to be eligible to vote. User page and talk page edits do not apply. Edit totals remain pursuant to the overall productivity requirement."
- Planet articles. The following will be added to Wookieepedia:Layout Guide#Planet and moon articles, item 2: "*Note: Planet articles will not document chronological territorial affiliations unless the planet, moon, etc. is explicitly identified on a map as belonging to a given territory. For example, The Essential Atlas and The Essential Guide to Warfare document the many shifting territorial boundaries throughout Star Wars history on galactic maps. Unless a planet is explicitly identified on one of these maps as belonging to a territory, such as the Imperial Remnant or Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, do not list the territory among the planet's affiliations in the article's infobox or body."
- Signature policy. The following amendments will be added to Wookieepedia:Signature policy:
- Item 6 of customized signatures will now read: "Your signature must include the default timestamp in all public usage. Additionally, the timestamp must include the following:"
- Item 6.2 of customized signatures will now read: "The timestamp must be displayed in its default timestamp form with all information present."
- The following is now prohibited in customized signatures: HTML tables and/or Wiki tables
- Page titles. Page titles with parenthetical descriptors will now format the parenthetical descriptors within {{C}}.
- QDB. No vote held regarding JangFett's proposed QDB overhaul. Jang is free to implement new system whenever as a non-wiki entity.
- Infobox formatting. The following will be added to Wookieepedia:Layout Guide#Infobox: "When listing multiple items in a single infobox field, including cascading items, use bullets to offset each item, including the first item listed. Do not use blank indentations."
- Welcome Bot. The Wikia Welcome Bot will be activated on an interim basis until SFH is ready to resume his welcoming role.
- Citing social media posts. When citing social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) in articles, an accompanying screenshot of the post must be uploaded to Wookieepedia and linked in the reference itself. This is done to combat the high frequency with which social media posts containing critical information are permanently removed and not available through archives.
- Wikia. The following items were discussed regarding Wookieepedia's relationship to Wikia:
- The following will be added to Wookieepedia:What Wookieepedia is not#Wookieepedia is not Wikia: "Wookieepedia is hosted by Wikia, but Wookieepedia is not Wikia, Wookieepedia is not any other wiki, and Wookieepedia is certainly not 'a Wikia.' Wookieepedia is a wiki that found a home on Wikia long ago, before Wikia decided to focus more on social networking and advertising than on hosting wikis, and unlike other sites hosted on Wikia, Wookieepedia retains its original focus: building an encyclopedia.
- "To this end, Wookieepedia does not, as a general rule, want fancy gadgets and pretty toys and goofy trim, Wookieepedia just wants a reliable site with a host that does not meddle in its affairs. We would hope that Wikia respects the will of our community as reflected by the [[Wookieepedia:Site feature policy|site feature policy]] and consensus policy. Any Wikia staff who also hold elected positions at Wookieepedia must obey Wookieepedia policy and consensus above Wikia policy and mandates. Failure to do so will result in removal of all special user rights and privileges.
- "Users who are unfamiliar with Wookieepedia may not appreciate our rules at first, but we advise you to remember the old adage, 'don't knock it 'til you try it.' We think we've done pretty well so far. We also advise everyone to consult the consensus and single-issue voter policies before attempting to change the system."
- Additional proposed amendments to Wookieepedia:Administrative autonomy and Wookieepedia:Consensus were rejected.
