During the uprising on Kashyyyk, Wookiee warriors united together^[5] and repelled the Czerka Corporation from Kashyyyk.^[6]

During the Clone Wars, Wookiees fought for the Galactic Republic^[2] in several star systems,^[7] including within their home Kashyyyk system during the Battle of Kashyyyk.^[2] Decades later, Wookiee warriors fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War,^[1] and subsequently as part of the Resistance.^[4]
