Wesley Kimmel is an actor from Los Angeles with roles in multiple Star Wars live-action television series on Disney+. He portrayed a Tusken Raider child in The Book of Boba Fett, which premiered on December 29, 2021, as well as the Mandalorian foundling Ragnar in the third season of The Mandalorian
Biography[]
Wesley Kimmel is an actor from Los Angeles[2] with a background in martial arts. During casting of The Book of Boba Fett television series,[4] director[3] Robert Rodriguez cast Kimmel as a Tusken Raider child because he wanted an actor who was good physically and would be very professional with a martial arts background.[4] He[1] had no dialogue in the series, and according to[4] executive producer[3] Jon Favreau, he was completely covered in bandages.[4] The show premiered on December 29, 2021,[5]
Favreau and the crew thought Kimmel did a great job in The Book of Boba Fett, so they figured that he should get to show his face in a Star Wars show. Kimmel was given a different role[4] as the Mandalorian foundling Ragnar in the third season of The Mandalorian.[6] He had a hard time keeping his role a secret for a year. On March 1, 2023, Kimmel announced on Instagram that he was a guest starring on The Mandalorian.[7]
