Wecacoe was a planet located in the galaxy's Colonies region that Captain Cassian Andor, Kertas, and Rismor of the Rebel Alliance traveled to in order to extract Imperial security protocols.

Description[]

Wecacoe was a desert planet that was host to at least one city, Weacoe city. Cassian Andor described it as a backwater. The Galactic Empire had constructed storage facility 47 inside the city.^[1]

History[]

Wecacoe was the site of an Imperial garrison during the Imperial Era.^[4]

Cassian Andor, along with the twins Kertas and Rismor, went to Wecacoe to undertake a mission to extract Imperial security protocols. While inside storage facility 47, they were confronted by the KX-series security droid K-2SO. Kertas and Rismor managed to wipe most of K-2SO's memory, and Andor ordered him to escort them back to their ship. After a brief confrontation with several stormtroopers, Andor and K-2SO located a new ship and escaped Wecacoe.^[1]

Wecacoe first appeared in Rogue One - Cassian & K-2SO Special 1, a canon comic^[1] published on August 9, 2017.^[5]
