Following the Battle of Endor, a sizable fleet of the Galactic Empire was hidden within the Vulpinus Nebula under the command of Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax. Grand Admiral Rae Sloane and Rax convened the first meeting of the Shadow Council in the Vulpinus Nebula, and following the attack on Chandrila, Rax ordered the fleet to Jakku, along with other smaller yet still sizable Imperial fleets stationed in the Almagest, Inamorata, Queluhan Nebula, Recluse's Nebula, and the Ro-Loo Triangle.^[1] These fleets made up the loyalist Imperial Navy forces that were present on Jakku and participated in the final battle of the Galactic Civil War.^[3]
