The Vesper[4] was a cruiser in service of the New Republic. Under the command of Captain Hayle, the Vesper was tasked with transporting the prisoner Morgan Elsbeth and rendezvousing with Home One. However, the cruiser was intercepted by Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati. The duo killed almost everyone on board, scuttling the ship and leaving with Elsbeth.[1]
