The Vanguard Axis,[1] also known as the Axis Vanguard,[4] was a criminal cartel[1] operational after the end of the Clone Wars.[2] It was an offshoot of the Droid Gotra crime family.[3] The organization engaged in illicit operations such as smuggling, forgery, and slavery. It was entirely run by droids, which included its leader and was headquartered in a space station.[2]
