Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Please do not remove talk page and forum comments, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask one of our administrators. May the Force be with you!

Voting[]

Please note that you are not allowed to vote in community discussions like Trash Compactor threads before you have 50 main namespace edits, as per Wookieepedia:Single-issue voters. I have therefore struck your vote in the TC. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 22:09, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

Warning[]

Please see Wookieepedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. JangFett (Talk) 20:18, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Squibs in Star Wars[]

Hey, Sean. I wanted to reply to your recent remarks you made at Talk:Squib. Your comments were removed because they did not discuss the article, they discussed the subject of the article. Our policy is that talk page discussions should focus on the article and how to improve it, not on the subject of that article. As per whether Harry Potter Squibs are more famous than Star Wars Squibs, it's really a moot point. This is a Star Wars wiki, so we are only really concerned with the Star Wars meaning of "Squib" unless there is some source that points out that there is some connection between the two. As far as I know, there isn't. Thanks, ~SavageBOB sig 21:01, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

LEGO Star Wars[]

Please do not continue to disrupt the article with numerous of sections dedicating to only minor comparisons between the television series show and the video game. Not only is it unprofessional looking, it's also not how things work on Wookieepedia. Please familiarize yourself with our policies before editing. Cheers, JangFett (Talk) 16:42, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

KB threads[]

Hey, Sean. When using the Knowledge Bank, please be sure to follow all the rules. Specifically, "The Knowledge Bank is only for canonically answerable questions." Thank you for your cooperation.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 03:04, June 5, 2012 (UTC)

Where can I ask questions about the fanbase hatred of Jar Jar? SeanWheeler 22:21, June 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • Somewhere besides Wookieepedia. Wookieepedia is not here for questions about fan topics, but for information.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 22:32, June 5, 2012 (UTC)

Talk pages[]

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Before posting talk page comments, please familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Thank you. I knew that. I even mentioned that there shouldn't be a speculation thread, but I got off topic when I got mad at Disney for cancelling the Clone Wars. SeanWheeler (talk) 19:42, May 3, 2013 (UTC)

Canon article creation/expansion[]

Canon articles are not to be made by copy and pasting content from Legends articles, but simply removing Legends details, links, and sources. They must be written from scratch. While some information may be shared between Canon and Legends, copying from Legends is not always accurate, is poor editing practice (plagiarism is never allowed), and is not to be done. Trip391 (talk) 02:56, March 11, 2015 (UTC)

  • Furthermore, please don't ever create articles with tags already on them such as "Cleanup" or "Nolegends," or for that matter, ones that would require such tags. Certain ones, such as "Redlink," are fine, since you're not expected to create everything that's linked, or "More sources" / "Incomplete list," since we understand that you might not be able to track down all Appearances or Sources. Same for "Stub." But ones with "Cleanup" or "Nolegends" is something being created that's a problem that has to be cleaned up by someone else, and is poor custom. ProfessorTofty (talk) 03:07, March 11, 2015 (UTC)

Okay, sorry. SeanWheeler (talk) 04:11, March 11, 2015 (UTC)
