RE:Removed my deletion template[]

Hello, I saw your reasoning on the talk page, but that article needs to be trash compacted. See Wookieepedia:Trash compactor for more information on how to proceed and what it is. Make sure you follow the steps and if you have any questions just let me know!--Vitus InfinitusTalk 14:14, May 2, 2020 (UTC)

Ventress image[]

Hello, I reverted your image change because its not about what necessarily represents the character best. Generally we use the characters last appearance for the infobox image, (Dark Disciple doesn't appear to have a suitable image so Kindred Spirits is the next best place). Another example is an image of Old Ben being used for Obi-Wan rather than stuff during the Clone Wars era --Lewisr (talk) 15:11, May 11, 2020 (UTC)

I thought I covered everything[]

Hello! I mean in Rex's personality and traits section, information should be added to reflect the episodes. And it probably wouldn't hurt to mention in his equipment section that he utilised a jetpack during the Yerbana and Mandalore battles. Hope this helps! --Lewisr (talk) 23:25, May 11, 2020 (UTC)

  • Okay, I'll do that tomorrow. —ComicalNinja [Talk] 23:26, May 11, 2020 (UTC)
    • Fair enough, nice job and thanks for updating his page --Lewisr (talk) 23:29, May 11, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Need advice with GA nomination[]

Hello! Regarding your question, your nominated article doesn't necessarily have to be something you created, but must simply comply with the rules listed here. In short, the article must follow all Wookieepedia:Policies and be comprehensively detailed (meaning the article must include all relevant information from every single official Star Wars content that the subject appears/is mentioned in). And, of course, you must be willing to take care of the objections that article reviewers like me would leave at the nomination page :P TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 22:49, May 12, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Question about image captions[]

The Layout Guide section on images does not mandate present or past tense, so you are free to choose whichever format you like. However, my general rule of thumb is "present tense for images that show an event" (like an image of a battle) and "past tense for images that aren't directly related to the adjacent text" (some topics might lack images of the article subject but images of other things can be used instead). But this is completely up to you. Just make sure to follow the other rules listed in the Layout Guide. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 05:30, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

  • Alright, thanks. —ComicalNinja [Talk] 12:39, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

A message from the AgriCorps[]

Hi, I'm reaching out to you on behalf of the AgriCorps. You're receiving this message because you have nominated at least one GAN this year while reviewing fewer than two GANs per each of your nominations. As you know, the GAN is a community project that can only operate when Wookieepedians both nominate and review articles. We therefore encourage you to review more GANs. Not only is this an act of giving back to the community, but reviewing others' articles is the best way to improve your own article writing as well. We look forward to seeing more reviews from you! Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 19:58, May 16, 2020 (UTC)

FAN[]

Hi ComicalNinja, I got your message about your GAN. I'll close that for you right now, and thank you for understanding. However, as an Inq, I would like to tell you right now that I don't think it's a good idea to nominate that article for FAN. When I say the article is currently lacking detail, I don't mean you could elaborate on a few more details. I mean that this article probably needs to be several thousand words long to be anywhere near featured status. This unit plays a major role in 4 extra-long episodes of the clone wars, meaning you have over an hour of these guys being on screen to talk about. The stuff on the Venator in Shattered and Victory and Death alone needs to be fully expanded, explaining Ahsoka and Rex's movements, the 332nd's attempts to stop them etc. Basically, this topic is a massive undertaking, and taking it to FAN will require an awful lot of work for you and for the people reviewing it. While I applaud your enthusiasm at nominating this, it's encouraged that users start off nominating less prominent articles to get a feel for writing. Honestly, I think this subject is far too massive for some experienced writers to tackle, let alone someone starting out on the nominating scene. This is of course all my opinion, and I cannot stop you from nominating the article for FAN. However, I would just like to warn you that such a FAN will be long and difficult for everyone involved, and I think it would be far more sensible to nominate something smaller for now, like an individual clone in this group. Tommy-Macaroni 21:39, May 18, 2020 (UTC)

  • I understand what you're saying, and it's valid advice, but I've decided I'm not going to quit on the article at this point. If the FAN fails, then so be it, but I don't want my previous efforts to have been for nothing. I am up to the challenge of expanding the insufficient sections, and besides, I have other editing experience apart from this wiki. Thanks though! —ComicalNinja [Talk] 21:52, May 18, 2020 (UTC)

Hello. Just to note that you can use Special:Upload to upload images; this file upload page loads the template automatically for you to fill in. Also, files are preferably uploaded with non-capitalised extensions (.png not .PNG) and .jpg instead of .jpeg. Good day! - - -CIS roundel OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 17:49, May 19, 2020 (UTC)
