Wookiees-Transparent

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, you can consult our FAQ, ask a question in the Senate Hall forum, visit our official IRC channel, or leave me a message on my talk page.
May the Force be with you! —Lewisr (talk) 17:10, October 12, 2020 (UTC)

CAN[]

Hey, just letting you know that in order for an article to be a CA, it should be of good quality. As such, Din Djarin's armor does not qualify. Thanks. VergenceScatter (talk) 18:53, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

Alright, thanks. Cade999 (talk) 14:06, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Cade999

Backup links[]

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to File:Cal-Tomb-Of-M.jpg added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks! UberSoldat93 Din Djarin's clan (talk) 16:18, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

  • Ok, but how do I do the archive link? Cade999 (talk) 16:27, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Cade999

Hey, sorry, on my device those sites are blocked. Can you please do it? So sorry, there won’t a problem like this from me again. Cade999 (talk) 16:45, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Cade999

Non-canon appearances[]

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that while we welcome adding non-canon media such as Fortnite to an appearances list, it must go in a subsection under the Appearances section titled Non-canon appearances. Please see Wookieepedia:Layout Guide#Non-canon appearances for more information. Thank you! --JediMasterMacaroniAdmiral Ackbar RH(Conversation) 20:14, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Voting[]

Hey, Cade, I'm just letting you know that when you voted for Boba Fett in the Character of the Year contest, you didn't properly sign your name. To do so, simply type in ~~~~ when casting your vote, that way you link to your user page and leave the timestamp of when you voted. Thanks! CIS roundel Erebus Chronus (talk) 16:19, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Images[]

Please provide an actual source for images that you upload. "Wikimedia Commons" is not a source. You need to state where you got the image from i.e. a link along with a backup link. UberSoldat93 Din Djarin's clan (talk) 14:57, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

Votes[]

Please update the total vote count when supporting nominations, thank you. UberSoldat93 Din Djarin's clan (talk) 15:06, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Talk pages[]

Please do not remove messages from talk pages or other discussion pages. All messages are part of the public record and must remain visible. Thanks! VergenceScatter (talk) 20:47, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

I was the one who made it, but I forgot to sign it and tried to fix it but my device would not let me scroll down to it so I decided to delete it. But if that is not allowed I understand. Cade999 (talk) 20:54, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Uploads[]

Please do not upload files without including all the information mandated by our Image policy. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. If you upload more files without the necessary information, it may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you for your cooperation. Edit summaries[]

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! When editing, please remember to provide an edit summary more often. This helps your fellow Wookieepedians, particularly those patrolling the Recent changes, understand why you are making certain changes. Thanks! —JediMasterMacaroniAdmiral Ackbar RH(Conversation) 17:52, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Image Category and Source[]

Hey, I saw the images that you uploaded earlier. Thank you for adding the images needed for the articles, but please add the proper categories and sources, just make sure to not leave a blank unless necessary to avoid any confusion, cheers! -Bonzane10 (talk) 17:26, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

Antillion[]

Hey there AwesomeMutation, I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your edits to Antillion because you did not source any of the information you added. If you can provide proper sourcing for any of it, please feel free to re-add it. If you need any help with citations, feel free to ask on my talk page or see the sourcing guidelines. Thanks and happy editing! Wok142 (talk) 20:43, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

Sourcing[]

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga‎‎ added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. If you would like some help learning how to properly source additions, you can see this tutorial or ask for assistance in our Discord server. Thanks! LucaRoR Sigil of House Serenno (Talk) 19:38, 7 March 2023 (UTC)

Moving pages[]

Hi, just a heads up that when you move a page, especially without leaving a redirect, don't forget to update the links to that page. You can find them by using Special:WhatLinksHere. (In this case, you can use Special:WhatLinksHere/Doma (Koboh).) Let me know if you have any questions. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 04:16, 5 April 2023 (UTC)

Scorch[]

Should I put the thing about the Scorch and the possible error in the "Behind the scenes" section?

Map of the galaxy[]

Hi AwesomeMutation, I really appreciate your additions to Map:Map of the galaxy, but I wanted to warn against adding too many markers to single points on the map. Adding things like unnamed/minor stars and moons can make the map unnecessarily cluttered. I recommend keeping as few markers as possible per point, trying to mainly only include what is actually named on the map, and to use the "system" marker for when a point has several notable astronomical bodies instead of making a marker for each one. Examples of this can be seen on the map's Hetzal system and Trymant system markers. Thank you! Panther436 (talk) 21:08, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

Understood. I'll just add one marker per system (or use the system marker when needed) when editing the map. AwesomeMutation (talk) 01:00, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
