"The factories of Kuat have been bombed into submission, and the shipyards of Xa Fel, Anadeen, and Turco Prime are all either contested or already lost. But the Outer Rim will be our savior—and it will be the strangling cord we tie around the neck of the New Republic. We already have three worlds under our sway there: Zhadalene, Korrus, and Belladoon."
―Gallius Rax, to the Shadow Council[3]

Turco Prime was an astronomical object located in an intersecting portion of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] Situated within grid square Q-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it housed a Galactic Empire shipyard by the time of the Galactic Civil War against the New Republic. The New Republic fought to gain control of the shipyard[3] in 5 ABY,[4] and such was noted by Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax when he spoke of the contested status of multiple Imperial locations like Turco Prime in a meeting with his new Imperial Shadow Council[3] that year.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

Turco Prime was first mentioned in the 2016 novel Aftermath: Life Debt, the second volume of Chuck Wendig's Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[3]
