Trevi IV, also known as Trevi, was a dry planet of barren plains and deserts. It was situated along several hyperlanes and lay in the Mid Rim's Quess sector. A Truishii trader starship was forced to land on Trevi IV at some point to make repairs. The Truishii subsequently decided to establish a colony at the landing site, which quickly developed into the large spaceport settlement known as Trevi City. The planet itself eventually became a trade world inhabited by thirty-five million sentients of various species.

Two decades before the Galactic Civil War, the Bith Fiz Cor'gril arrived on Trevi IV, bought an old garage complex in Trevi City, and established the used starship dealership known as Fizzi's Slightly Used Starships. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire maintained a token presence on the planet in the form of a small post outside Trevi City.

Trevi IV, also referred to simply as Trevi, was a terrestrial planet located in the Trevi system, a part of the Quess sector^[2] in the Trailing Sectors portion of the Mid Rim.^[1] The planet occupied the fourth orbital position in its star system, which was located along several hyperlanes used in interstellar commerce. The planet's day lasted twenty-eight standard hours, and its year consisted of 389 local days.^[2]

The planet had standard gravity and a breathable Type I atmosphere. Although the climate on Trevi IV was temperate in general, the temperatures were high in the Trevi City settlement, particularly during the day. The terrain of the nondescript planet included barren plains, deserts, plateaus, and urbanized areas. Trevi IV's hydrosphere was dry, but there were at least two bodies of surface water on the planet.^[2]

History[]

At some point, a caravan of Truishii traders passing the Trevi system experienced an accident in hyperspace. A Truishii starship was then forced to land on Trevi IV so that it could be repaired. Instead of moving on when the ship was repaired, however, the traders decided to establish a colony on the planet.^[2]

Due to Trevi IV's location along several trade routes, the Truishii colony rapidly developed into the spaceport settlement known as Trevi City. The Bith entrepreneur Fiz Cor'gril, also known as "Fizzi," arrived on Trevi IV slightly more than twenty years before the Galactic Civil War, after the Trevi City's spaceport had been refurbished.^[2]

At the time of Cor'gril's arrival, an old starship garage was being forced out of business, and the Bith was able to acquire the complex. Cor'gril eventually used it to start a used starship dealership called Fizzi's Slightly Used Starships, which he continued to run for more than two decades. When the orphaned Human thief Shanna Kinn arrived on Trevi IV and attempted to steal parts from Cor'gril's starship lot, the Bith caught the woman. Impressed with her skills, Cor'gril recruited Kinn to work at his dealership.^[2]

Inhabitants[]

Trevi IV was a trade world inhabited by thirty-five million sentient beings of various species, including Humans and aliens from a thousand worlds, such as the Truishii, the original settlers of the planet. The Bith owner of the used starship dealership known as Fizzi's Slightly Used Starships, Fizz Cor'gril, worked in Trevi City, as did his employees, which included the Verpine mechanic Garginoolaara and the Human acquisitions specialist Shanna Kinn. The inhabitants of Trevi IV imported foodstuffs and medical supplies on their homeworld while exporting luxury goods and technology to the wider galaxy.^[2]

The expansive spaceport settlement known as Trevi City developed from the original Truishii colony, which was located near the largest body of water on Trevi IV. The congested streets of the city were filled with various sounds and lights and bustled with merchants, customers, street performers, and con artists. Numerous shops of various sizes helped maintain a bazaar-like atmosphere throughout the city.^[2]

The used starship dealership Fizzi's Slightly Used Starships was located in a large garage complex that was situated in the southwestern sector of Trevi City, at the edge of the settlement's starport district. To provide relief from the high temperatures outside, the air in the dealership's garage was kept cool. During the Galactic Civil War, a small post located just outside Trevi City constituted the Galactic Empire's token presence both on Trevi IV and in its star system.^[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Trevi IV was first mentioned in "Fizzi's Slightly Used Starships," a roleplaying game source article written by John J. Richardson III and published in the February 1996 Star Wars Adventure Journal 9.^[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Trevi system, and therefore Trevi IV, in grid square N-17.^[1]
