During the Clone Wars, Trace Martez owned a repair shop on Level 1313 of the Coruscant underworld.[1] She had inherited it after her parents died.[3] The shop was on the side of an underworld portal, where it had a landing platform that jutted out into the shaft. Martez kept a modified Nebula-class freighter she was working on in the shop that she named the Silver Angel. Martez met former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano when the Togruta crashed her malfunctioning speeder bike on the repair shop's landing pad.[1]
During the Imperial Era, the Martez sisters became allies with the former clone captain Rex, who would use the space from time to time. After Rex rescued Senator Riyo Chuchi from a clone sniper sent by Admiral Rampart, they brought the imprisoned assassin to the shop for interrogation. However, the clone was unwilling to answer any questions and quickly committed suicide via a suicide shocker.[4] Rex would soon contact Clone Force 99 to help Senator Chuchi finish her investigation of Rampart, who had been covering up the Imperial destruction of Tipoca City on Kamino. The group landed their ship, the Marauder, on the shop's landing platform and met with Rex and Chuchi to go over their plan, which was to steal evidence of Rampart's involvement from his Venator-class Star Destroyer so Chuchi could present it to the Imperial Senate.[5]
