A trade world lying on the Corellian Run super-hyperroute, Tlactehon was located in the Expansion Region's Kailion sector. A delegation from Tlactehon that was in reality a front for a gang of smugglers once traveled to the planet Muunilinst, where it was scheduled to meet with representatives of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. As part of the conquest of the galaxy by the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong, the invaders held the Tlactehon system until at least 27 ABY.

Description[]

Tlactehon was a trade world[3] located in the star system of the same name. It was located in the Expansion Region's Kailion sector,[1] specifically in one of the subsectors constituting the 77 Sectors. Tlactehon lay between the Allanteen and Spirana systems on the Corellian Run super-hyperroute, which served as a dividing line between the regions known as the Slice and the Trailing Sectors.[2]

History[]

At some point between 4 ABY and 19 ABY,[4] a delegation from Tlactehon, in reality a front for a gang of smugglers backed by members of the Hutt species, traveled to the[3] Outer Rim Territories[5] planet Muunilinst. The delegation was scheduled to prepare for a meeting with representatives of the InterGalactic Banking Clan at High Port, a space station in Muunilinst's orbit, but was delayed en route due to a mechanical fault of its starship.[3]

Subsequently, another group of individuals that was similar in makeup to the Tlactehon delegation arrived first in the Muunilinst system. The unrelated group was mistaken for the Tlactehon delegation by agents of the New Republic Intelligence and the Imperial Security Bureau, who wanted the delegation's meeting with the Banking Clan to fail and succeed, respectively.[3]

At some point between 25 ABY and 26 ABY, the military forces of the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong species passed through the Tlactehon system during its conquest of the galaxy. The star system was held under the control of those invaders until at least 27 ABY.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Tlactehon was first mentioned in the 2004 Wizards of the Coast sourcebook Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds. The book includes an adventure seed for use with the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, and this article assumes the scenario plays out as described. In order for gamemasters to adapt the scenario for use in the Rebellion era setting, the book advises to substitute the New Republic agents interested in the Tlactehon delegation with agents of the Rebel Alliance.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Tlactehon system, and therefore Tlactehon itself, in grid square O-13.[2]

The New Essential Chronology places the establishment of the New Republic in 4 ABY and the end of hostilities between the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant, an incarnation of the Galactic Empire occasionally referred to as the "Empire" per The Essential Atlas, in 19 ABY.
