Penn lied about his mother's death[]

In the episode 3, there are 2 instances when Penn does an "ear picking" gesture. The first time, he does it before he delivers his speech about his mother's death and how it inspired him to pursue cloning technology. Second time it's when the droid during his session asks him if he harbors any feelings of resentment towards the New Republic, and after that he says "no" even though a scene earlier we clearly saw he had feelings of resentment towards them due to them destroying the perfectly usable Imperial technology that is still working and could be used for good. Hence, why it's logical to assume that Penn lied about his mother dying in order to convince everybody that his research was actually good. Varis - The Sparrowness (talk) 18:47, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
