Name[]
According to this site, the name of the planet is Maldo Kreis. Can we change it? --Zylum9990 (talk) 21:13, February 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Has the name been used in an official source outside of this article? If not, then we can't use it as confirmation. UberSoldat93 (talk) 22:32, February 6, 2020 (UTC)
- I think information from an article that interviews the crew of The Mandalorian (including the executive producer) featuring on-set photos provided directly by Lucasfilm is no different than information revealed in The Rise of Skywalker Vanity Fair feature used to create articles like Orbak. - Currently, it's in the same boat as "Dyn Jarren" before the name was revealed in the show. Lucasfilm Story Group has to confirm it first. UberSoldat93 (talk) 06:17, February 7, 2020 (UTC)
- I don't think there should be an issue with using that article as a source. We used a similar source for the Star Destroyers from Rogue One, both Persecutor and the Intimidator--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:30, February 7, 2020 (UTC)
- Well if that's the case, I'll go ahead with the renaming. UberSoldat93 (talk) 11:13, February 7, 2020 (UTC)

Chapter 10[]
A graphic in "The Passenger" tells us the ice world is Maldo Kreis. I've also heard that Pablo Hidalgo has said the article that named the world in Chapter 1 as Maldo Kreis was incorrect, and used the wrong name. I know we don't use Tweets as sources here, but I figure it'd be worth investigating (if anyone is able to see Pablo's Tweets to verify), and perhaps to make a note of for future reference - TLM86 17:09, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
Sector[]
So according to Sedaris' character the Kol Iben system is in the same sector as Tatooine trailing one other system. Now Maldo Kreis is either in that system that is trailed by Kol Iben or it is in the same system. Either way it would seem this places Maldo Kreis firmly in the Arkanis sector near the Pii system according to the Din's hyperspace lane map.Falcon9DarkJedi (talk) 19:05, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
