Does the Boonta Eve have anything to do with the planet Boonta, which is also controlled by the Hutts? VT-16 22:11, 7 Nov 2005 (UTC)

• I always assumed that the Boonta Eve Podrace was just named after Hutt activities or something. And this article makes no sense. Boonta *EVE* wouldn't be the holiday, Boonta *DAY* would be. Like we really don't celebrate Christmas *EVE* but we do celebrate Christmas *DAY*. If you understand what I'm getting at. I mean sure we do some stuff on Christmas Eve, like Midnight Mass and such, so maybe thats why they do the Podrace on Boonta Eve, so they relax and celebrate the day of Boonta Day with relaxation and family time.
