Upcoming Timelines Book[]

The preconceived notions that this wikia has regarding 0 BBY needs to be changed with the release of Star Wars: Timelines. It's not a thing anymore. 1 BBY goes from exactly 1 year before Yavin up to the battle (as was obviously always the intention). Thus, the system needs to be changed to reflect that. Otherwise you have an unaccounted-for extra year. Keeper of the Timeline (talk) 17:10, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

  • Since Star Wars: Timelines has not been released yet, it's a bit too soon to make major changes. People need a chance to actually read it and see what the book says in its entirety rather than just previews. The final copy can also change from what's seen in the preview version. • If the C.R.C. digits after the initial period indicate the elapsed fraction of the year, then Maarva Andor wouldve died before Pablo Hidalgo’s internal ‘May 1972’ start of 5 BBY/BR1, or still in 6 BBY, which would be a problem for the proposed revision unless we accept that years can in (canon) fact be counted differently in relation to the Battle of Yavin. • According to Hidalgo, the three digits after the initial period are the year in days from 000 to 365, which would place Maarva's death in his "August 1972", which would be in 5 BBY and fit both Star Wars: Timelines and Andor. Civil Warrior (talk) 15:02, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
