"Oh, we're having a sleepover, mom. The woklings were just crying…for more of your sunberry pie!"
―Wicket Warrick, to his mother[1]

Sunberry pie was a pie made of sunberries that the Ewok Shodu Warrick was known to make at a high quality. In 3 ABY, she made some sunberry pie for a festival in Bright Tree Village on the Forest Moon of Endor. After the festival was over, Shodu's son, Wicket Warrick, pretended a group of woklings was crying due to their wish for more sunberry pie—in reality, they were frightened after visiting Horville's Hut of Horrors.

Description[]

"Here are your sunberries, mom."
"Thanks, honey drop. I can always use more berries at carnival time."
―Wicket and Shodu Warrick[1]

Sunberry pie was a type of pie made from sunberries. It was beige in color, circular, and edible by Ewoks.[1]

History[]

"Your pies always take first prize, Shodu!"
―Kneesaa, to Shodu Warrick[1]

Wicket shoves a slice of pie in the face of Malani.

In 3 ABY,[2] at an Ewok festival in Bright Tree Village on the Forest Moon of Endor, the young Ewoks Wicket Wystri Warrick and Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka delivered a basket of sunberry fruits to Warrick's mother, Shodu Warrick. Shodu used the berries to make sunberry pie for the festival and thanked the young Ewoks, saying that she could always use more berries at carnival time. Kintaka praised her pies and noted that they always received first prize. Shodu then asked Wicket and Kintaka to watch over Wicket's wokling sister, Winda, while she was busy preparing her pies.[1]

Later that day, Wicket and Winda returned home with several of Wicket's friends and other woklings after visiting the Horville's Hut of Horrors attraction, which had scared all of the woklings. As they cried from the fright, the adult Ewoks arrived, and Shodu inquired what was going on. As he was not supposed to have taken them to the Hut of Horrors, Wicket tried to hide the woklings' true reason for crying, claiming that they were having a sleepover and that the woklings were simply crying for more of Shodu's sunberry pie. As though to prove his point, he and his friends shoved slices of pie into the mouths of the four woklings who were crying: Nippet, Wiley, Winda, and Malani. Two of the adult Ewoks, Weechee and Widdle Warrick, also tried to take slices of the pie, though Shodu took away the pie before the latter could eat any.[1]
