Sullust Garlic Chips were a garlic and cheese-flavored snack served at Jat Kaa's Coolers locations in Black Spire Outpost on the Outer Rim planet Batuu[1] in 34 ABY.[2] The snack was suitable for human consumption.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

This snack was available in the real world exclusively at Jat Kaa's Coolers beverage carts in Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Anaheim, California. It was introduced to the menu in May, 2022 as part of the park's celebration of Star Wars Day. The Disney Parks Blog article revealing the snack described it as a "Mix of Buffalo and White Cheddar-flavored Garlic Chips."[3] At the beverage carts, the garlic chips could be purchased in a paper bag or in an MSE-6 series repair droid souvenir vessel. The paper bag listed the ingredients in the snack, which included cheddar cheese, milk, monosodium glutamate (MSG), gluten, and eggs.[4] The garlic chips have been likened to krupuk, a popular snack food in Indonesia.[5]

As Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of The Force Awakens and the Battle of Batuu to 34 ABY, everything within Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and any related tie-in media depicting the Battle of Batuu, or set between The Force Awakens and the battle, must also occur in 34 ABY.
