Star Wars Pinball VR is a virtual reality (VR) video game developed by Zen Studios. The game was released April 29, 2021 for Oculus Quest, Steam VR, and PlayStation VR. The game acts as a spin-off of Star Wars Pinball, with six of the eight tables available at launch coming from the original game. Tables returning from Star Wars Pinball included "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope," "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back," "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi," "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Star Wars Rebels," and "Masters of the Force." The new tables available at launch were "The Mandalorian," inspired by the eponymous television show, and "Classic Collectibles," based on classic Star Wars action figures.^[2]

The game took advantage of the virtual reality medium by adding several new modes. These included the Star Wars Fan Room mode (in which players could decorate the space in which their pinball tables sat with Star Wars memorabilia and even bring characters to life around the table), the Total Immersion Mode (which placed the player within the table during gameplay), and full, 360-degree minigames. The game brought back features from previous Star Wars Pinball experiences, such as the Galactic Struggle, Career Mode, Force Powers and Talents, Cantina Jukebox, and Galactic Tournaments and League Play.^[2]

On May 27, 2021, Zen released a free update for Star Wars Pinball VR, adding the new table "Han Solo" (based on the character in the Original Trilogy) and similarly-themed Fan Cave cosmetics.^[3] On June 24, they released another free update featuring the table "Droids" (based on R2-D2 and C-3PO in A New Hope) and related cosmetics.^[4]
