Jedi Master K'kruhk faces a battle for his life - one with deadly parallels for Bomo Greenbark and the crew of the smuggler vessel Uhumele. Meanwhile, Master Dass Jennir is down to his last credit, and faces a stark choice: compromise his ideals or starve. Being a Jedi may make him an outlaw, but will being an outlaw mean he's no longer a Jedi? Darth Vader doesn't care: He's on the trail of Jennir either way - and so is the dread assassin Falco Sang!

Opening crawl[]

THE EMPIRE
VOL. 2
It has been two months since the evil Chancellor Palpatine
issued Order 66, the extermination of all Jedi, and
transformed the Republic into a Galactic Empire - one
which he now rules as Emperor from its capital of
Coruscant.

Massacred by Palpatine's loyal clone troopers, the Jedi
Order has collapsed. Its few survivors find themselves
hunted by Palpatine's apprentice, fellow Sith Lord Darth
Vader.

One of those fugitive Jedi, Dass Jennir, fought alongside
Bomo Greenbark and his people against the Empire's
stormtroopers on the core world of New Plympto. But
Bomo's soldiers were slaughtered, and his wife Mesa and
daughter Resa taken into slavery.

Bomo and Jennir escaped with the outlaw crew of the
transport ship ''Uhumele''. But despite a valiant rescue
attempt and the abandonment of his Jedi ideals, Jennir was
unable to prevent Mesa and Resa's deaths. Now, Jennir
seeks a new path, hiding in a galaxy under Imperial rule....
