A spotted ice phoenix was a type of phoenix. During the High Republic Era, Nihil General Abediah Viess had an office in her manor on the planet Sarumo furnished with the spotted pelt of one of the creatures.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] when Jedi Master Porter Engle snuck into the office, he noticed the pelt spread across the room's tile floor, and felt that the decor represented the trappings of wealth.[1]

The pelt of a spotted ice phoenix appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
