The Snarlok was a legendary creature among the people of Batuu. It was said to have constructed the Black Spire of Black Spire Outpost out of the corpses of misbehaving children, according to Grana, an elderly woman in a farming community, who told her grandson Dolin that the creature was real. Upon hearing of the Snarlok, Vi Moradi thought of the Naklor, a similar mythological creature that was said to be the cause of the Black Spire's creation.^[1]
