- "The first scene that I was in, basically I'm reporting to Bail Organa, and just letting him know that we've located a Jedi homing beacon. And it wasn't without a bit of a scrap up — I'm sort of cut up a little bit. When I say it, my character is kind of stunned that the clones seem to be directionless; they don't have a leader. And so Senator Organa tells me that we'd better intercept the Jedi before the clones regroup. In the second scene basically Organa entrusts R2-D2 and C-3PO to my care, and tells me to treat them well, and that he wants C-3PO's mind erased."
- ―Rohan Nichol
Rohan Nichol (born July 4, 1976) is an Australian actor who portrayed Captain Raymus Antilles in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. He was thrilled to be playing "Captain Antilles." However, he thought at first he would be portraying Wedge Antilles. It wasn't until he arrived on the Revenge of the Sith set in Sydney that Nichol learned that he would actually play the part of Raymus Antilles, portrayed by Peter Geddis in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[1]
Nichol was the original choice to play Captain Antilles, before George Lucas considered using Denis Lawson, the actor that portrayed Wedge Antilles in the original trilogy. However, Lawson turned down the offer and Nichol was once again the choice.[source?]
Nichol appeared in the 2011 film Red Dog alongside Revenge of the Sith co-star Keisha Castle-Hughes (Queen Apailana), and in the 2016 short movie Comedy Showroom: The Future Is Expensive with Leeanna Walsman (Zam Wesell). He also shared screen with Genevieve O'Reilly (Mon Mothma in Episode III) in several episodes of the TV series All Saints.
