The Rite of Hospitality was an old-fashioned tradition practiced on the frozen world of Thelj during the High Republic Era. It entitled guests to warm themselves at a lodging for an hour unless an additional offer was made by the host. While attempting to steal a Force artifact from the Graf family compound on Thelj, the Path of the Open Hand member Yana Ro invoked the Rite of Hospitality so that she and her companions Kor Plouth and Treze could enter the residence. However, they were betrayed by the Mother Elecia Zeveron and were attacked by the Graf family's security guards. Yana escaped aboard Radicaz Dobbs's ship Scupper but her companions were killed by the guards.[1]
