The Rising Phoenix, in Mandalorian culture, was the act of using a jetpack. When providing the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin with a jetpack, the Mandalorian known as "the Armorer" questioned whether he had been trained in the Rising Phoenix. Djarin later used the jetpack for the first time to land on Moff Gideon's TIE fighter.[1]
